Our doctors perform a wide-range of soft tissue surgical procedures. From the common elective procedures of ovariohysterectomy (spay) and orchiectomy (neuter) to the more advanced intra-abdominal procedures (foreign body removal, GDV repair, intestinal resection, bladder surgery, etc). Each patient is assessed case by case with a physical examination and bloodwork and then an individualized anesthetic plan is created. These plans include considerations such as: supportive care with intravenous fluids and pain management at the time of surgery and post-operatively. Intra-operatively, patients are monitored using state-of-the art equipment checking blood pressure, oxygen concentration, and electrical activity of the heart (EKG). Post-operatively, patients are monitored until they have fully recovered. |
